Ladies Shooting Clinic Held on March 29, 2009 Neither rain, nor sleet nor snow can keep the ladies away from their guns. 15 ladies met on a cold and blustery day (it even snowed and hailed for a brief period of time), at the Table Rock Ranger range to learn the ins and outs of cowboy action shooting. I would like to extend a big thanks to Derringer Donna, Fairweather Kate, Gaye Abandon, Harley Davidson, ImaHorsinaround, and Shooting Silver Star who helped me guide those ladies who were not experienced in the fine art of cowboy action shooting. Everyone learned what this shooting sport is all about, from safety to costuming, to selecting a weapon suited to their preference. Thanks to Treacherous Jack and Runnin’ Wild, targets were set up (and taken down), so that real stages could be tried out. As the day warmed up, much laughter was heard. I must say that Kookanadude set a fine example of how those stages should be shot. Good job Kook Again, thank you ladies for your help. We will definitely plan to make this an annual event.
